Sightseeing

Tourist attractions. Things to do. What not to miss
in Barcelona. Whatever you call ’em, here they are in pictures – including the city’s famous art and architecture.

Parc Guell with the world’s longest serpentine bench covered in billions of mosaic tiles – the most amazing work of art you can sit on. Sagrada Familia reaching for the sky. Casa Mila with its weirdly wavy walls and sculpture garden roof. These are the works of Gaudi, but Barcelona has much more to feast your eyes on. Sandy beaches plus the Collserola mountains to the west, beautiful gardens and parks to wander. The surrealist and cubist artworks of painters who lived and worked in and around the city – Miro, Dalí and Picasso. Plus incredible panoramic views at Tibidabo and Montjuic reached by cable car.
